| Fragments of the lost years of The Tampa Daily Times
are
regularly
found. As soon as they are, Reclaiming our Heritage
volunteers and sponsoring organizations work to properly archive
the fragments, digitally scan them, and make them available to
the public and historians.
The following sample of clippings have recently come to light.
As new finds are discovered, they will be posted
with commentary by noted Florida scholars
and historians. Stay tuned...

The first edition of The
Tampa Daily Times was recently discovered in an attic trunk in
Jacksonville, FL. Folded and packed away
with other whatnots, it remained in "storage"— forgotten for
more than 75 years. The artifact is the only complete copy of
the newspaper known to exist. Only a portion of the
four-panel paper is available to view above. Presently the full
edition is being studied by scholars and is being prepared by Washington, DC archivists for donation to
the Reclaiming our Heritage campaign.
If you have an artifact to loan to the Reclaiming our Heritage campaign, please
